Sargaalaya Kerala Arts and Crafts Village takes new steps in the field of organic farming. Variety of vegetables including cucumber, Papaya, Lady’s Finger, Drumstick, Spinach are grown in two and a half acres of land in the village. There are four employees completely engaged in agricultural activities of the village under the leadership of Bhaskaran P P, CEO Sargaalaya. The other staffs also contribute onehour a day for this. The craft village has already been recognized as the Best Rural Tourism Project of the Country and is also awarded as the Best Tourist Destination of the Society. This new venture in the field of Agriculture will add on to the exemplary activities of the unique Arts and Crafts Village.
